is that the CPU you have? i wonder if there are newer steppings than AQXEA.

No, it's not mine, but mickey mouse has one and it does 2,7ghz@1,85V :eek: I would check the AMD forum and read about peoples results, not all AQXEA's are as great as mickey mouse's one. Mine is just an early revision, i bought it 2 weeks afther the launch(don't remember the stepping and i'm not @home so i can't check it)

thanks Tettejaak, i returned the XP1800 and picked up the XP2500.

it's running WAY cooler than the XP1800 too. mine is a AQXEA 0323VPBW.

i've just installed it. 2.0GHz is stable at 1.65v. i'm going to try for 2.4GHz now.

figures. :rolleyes:

this chip needs 1.9v to run 2.3GHz. if the voltage is less than that, i'll get an error in windows or 3Dmark doesn't finish.

oh well, i'll let it burn in at 2.3GHz with 1.9v and see if i can hit 2.4GHz after a few days.

*edit* nevermind, Prime95 errored out after 45mins. i need to up the voltage again i guess. :grr:
