Think that is cool? Here is a tactical nuke from the same game:

pic makes no sense to me, nuclear explosion and all the trees are standing still and the explosion is very contained.. that scene should be a wreck at that point (smoke cloud doesn't form until after damage has occurred). Trees should be snapped off their roots, and any remains turned to ashes, buildings and scenery should crumble and water should boil.... soo many things are wrong with that screenshot lol
Depends on Yield & Type of bomb used. In Hiroshima & Nagasaki the explosion caused massive damage mainly due to the buildings being made of cheap wood & stone but many were standing and many people survivied even though the bomb went off less than half a mile away. More people died from radioactivity released from 1 bomb than from the explosions of both put together.
A basic Fissile A-Bomb will devastate a small area and radiation will do the rest, a Hydrogen Bomb will cause alrge amounts of devastation & release many times more radiated materials than several A-Bombs combined. I'd say that the pic is of a small "suitcase" style of boosted fission bomb, small tactical yield & quite portable. Not suited for a missile but the type of weapon you'd take to the Pentagon to take it out.
Trans am, that last pic is in dire need of some AA. Check out the pic speedlander posted, there is a huge difference in quality.
Bleh. That nuke looks absolutely rediculous.
A note for hd2900xt users, it starts in dx10 mode, and there is an issue with garbled lettering, go the graphic options, then advanced tab, un-check second last box then click apply (right button) then yes (left button) then restart game.
Now you can read everything and actually start playing in dx9 mode.
