Great result
but ES always seems better than boxed version
Well all have to wait and see for more results.
Tomorrow if I can I will try one of this G0 CPUs (QX6850 G0) on an Asus Striker. I will inform you.
1,525 vCore 1,45v VHT 1,55v NB

Notice that on AsusStriker 1,525v means 1,42-1,44v in full load ;).
Liquid Cooled but very hot room. AsusStriker Vista64Ultimate 4x1GbyteGSkillMemory @ 800Mhz 4-4-4-12-2T (default) 2.10v

I will try to incrase FSB, anyway I could boot and run 3DM06 but the system is unstable, and I am not interested in it (only stability is important for me, I need this PC for work ;)).
multimeter
I did, but not only on this CPU, also on a QX6700 ES I had. vDrop is very higth on my mobo when using 4Core CPUs, the voltage that you can see in the screenshot is correct also checking with a multimeter ;), 1.43-1.44 volts ;).
if you look at the 4.3ghz one, it's e6850, not qx6850 :)
looks like I'll be holding off on e6420 until i can be sure of getting something g0 :)
OP, would it be too much to ask for some more specific testing? if not, I was wondering if you could find max stable clocks with 1.5v real volts on dual core.
Thanks :)
can't wait to see these g0 (or rather more likely g1 when it hits retail?) show up on intel's sspec finder. hopefully it goes all the way down to e6320 :)
so,if you buy a new CPU after the 22nd of luly, like an E6850 you have a G0 stepping?Or you specifically need to ask for it??I'm not sure wich one to get yet:An E6850 or a Q6600.
how to identify this stepping when procesor is inside box?
does Coolaler allow you to use his thread?
without asking the original thread owner that is not good thing in any where
