Damn I see lots of nice ocs with these. I decided to pick up an E6400 B stepping someone was selling for $130 shipped but...these are definitely high bang 4 buck cpu's. If that E6400 wasnt available, I probably would have gotten one.

I was at 3.15Ghz but wanted to reduce the temperature (I needed 1.4v+ for that). Using 1.4vcore (not positive I need it this high) here temps look alot higher than other coretemp shots. 80'c vs 35'c???:

Its from ebuyer L649g988, on stock cooling. My xp-120 wouldnt fit p35-dq6 especially with the underside crazycooling.

I wouldnt rely on intel tat due to reading this:

Did increasing the SB voltage increase your fsb wall? Please use speedfan, coretemp and intel tat for temp reading.

Yep, mine is the same scenario. TAT , CoreTemp and everest temps are different from RMclock and speedfan.

I tried a 266fsb mod on my cpu. I booted at my original settings but when I hit "load optimised defaults" it wouldnt boot anymore. I removed the mod and Im up and running again.

I have a xp-120 on it now so clocks/temps should be better. My e2160 walls between 375 and 400.

i tried to rise the SB up to 1.8 but still crash dual super pi 32m.
