I just chose this card over the 8800gts 320 b/c I saw your thread the performance your getting and its only 99.99 with rebate, so it saved me 160 bucks.
I plan to OC this as high as possible. I run on 2x22" screens and plan on running an hdtv after black friday. Ill get another card if I need too after that though.
I dont really play many games, mabye a little CnC3 and just do mostly webdesign and file conversions.
Did you upgrade your stock cooler at all chris? if so what kind of cooling?
By pencil, do they just pretty much mean draw over the resistor with a normal wood pencil to make a small conductive layer?
What kind of max temps should I be aware of?

Well I just got my whole system built and running.
I can get my 8600 to 650 core and 850 mem with stock cooling and voltages, I just changed out the heat pads to AS ceramique. What prog to you use to change voltages? My temps are in the 70's and I think thats alright for these cards iirc.
