French translation of a review:
We are pleased to present ahead first to you one of future the remplacantes of the current range Gigabyte based today on chipset INTEL P965.
These new arrivals will thus be equipées of the successor of this chipset is P35, otherwise called Bearlake, the current model that it will replace, GA-965P DQ6 will thus disparaitra very quickly market of the nine just like P5K will replace the P5B at Asus....
The principal changes with the program of this chipset are thus: an official support of the FSB1333 (333Mhz), and possible compatibility with memory DDR3, the mother chart presented here will thus not support the DDR3, it will be necessary to take the P35T-DQ6.
This mother chart was surmounted by a southbridge ICH9, embarked two ports PCIe 16x, three PCIe 1x and two ports NCV.
In spite of the presence of two ports PCIe 16x, only the first will have 16 lines, its counterpart N’offering that two to four lines.
On the level storage six ports S-ATA II managed by the southbridge will support the Matrix Raid, while two other additional ports S-ATA II will be managed by another controller.
To enable you to offer environment, a Realtek chip will be given the responsability to control returned sound high definition on 8 channels.
Being in period of NDA we cannot reveal results of benchmarks, or overclocking, but we were authorized to publish some photographs and captures of screen of Bios.
The mother chart at our disposal being a prototype, it is thus undoubtedly possible that its specifications, even its physical aspect are modified in the future, this is why we will not return more in the details for the moment.
Here thus its bios, rather complete :
As a door word of the overclockeurs we requested some modifications from Gigabyte, will espèrons that they we will listen.
- a choice of the possible FSB Strap in the bios.
- possibilities of adjustment of the tension Vddr (RAM) higher.
- more reasonable Vcore (all at least on the bios of the trade.)
- switchs Pow on/Reset with very the mother chart.
While waiting for the final model, and the final results, it would seem that the madness of the tueuses tensions of cows is not finished, the possible record of Vcore bios being now detenu by Gigabyte with pretty a 2.375V!!!! Who says better?

The bios looks IDENTICAL to that of the F10d beta bios for the DQ6, the only thing i see added is an extra fan option under "System Health", which seems logical since the P35-DQ6 now has 5 fan headers (as opposed to 3 on the 965P-DQ6). Three 3pin heards and two 4pin....very cool, glad they added more.
The bios in the images are no doubt of an early bios, most likely F1.

A detailed preview of the P35-DQ6!
http://www.ocworkbench.com/2007/gigabyte/p35-dq6/g1.htm
The real test of the P35-DQ6 will be the heatpipes and how aftermarket large heatsinks fit, it's of real concern. Sadly there is no way to know until you try it. So i'll report back as to how the Scythe Ninja Rev. B fits.
Benchmarks now up for the P35-DQ6
OCW have added more pages to their review and added benchmarks etc.

Did the ninja fit? I'm thinkin of a DS3R if they're the only ones out when the 2100 come (or hopefully penryn:).
Dear Gigabyte,
Parallel ports and serial ports? Welcome to 2007.
Sincerely,
Buying someone elses motherboard
No info as to what is fixed/added in the F3 bios for the P35-DQ6 as yet, my mobo has not arrived so i cannot install the Scythe Ninja.
I'll report back when UPS deliver.

In that review it said, it may have trouble with some CPU coolers. I guess no-one has tried an xp-120 with lga775 bracket?
One P35-DQ6 in the mail for me. Lest`s hope for better results with my Q6600 this time
No more BX2 :slapass:
so when is NDA for this babes?
Looks like I'll be hanging around here now Richard, picked up and installed my P35-DQ6 yesterday.
Noticed also that a new F4 BIOS is available on Gigabyte'ssite....
