Very nice results there, make us proud Mascaras :woot:
I think it may depend on what your cpu vid is, mine does 1.55 when im +.250 and i know my vid is the 1.325 or whatever the higher one is, i could be wrong but oh well
I Dont Understand The Vcore On This Board
Does this board have a problem with 4:5? I see nobody posting. Can anybody give it a try?
i saw more ppl like you (+0.200mv = 1.50v) but i also saw some ppl like mine (+0.200vm = 1.40v)

2:3 seems to works fine >> http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i5...O67890/600.jpg
later i try 4:5
regards
i have Low vid compared to other´s C2D ,but i have 3 friends also with DFI 965 and diferent CPU´s and VID , one of them with Quad-core QX6700 other with E6600 and another with E6420 and i think the Vcore on the DFi is like mine
+0.200mv = 1.40v
but i have another friend that have a E6600 and +0.200mv = 1.50v
regards
my friend E6420 VID = 1.3500v
http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/2261/6420bj5.jpg
and i think he also have +0.200mv = 1.40v (not sure i ask him later)
Btw my E6600 VID = 1.2375v
http://img401.imageshack.us/img401/820/vidjb2.jpg
and i dont have 1.2375v+ 0.200mv= 1.4250v
If i set +0.200mv = 1.39v in Bios & Idle windows and 1.37v Full
If i set +0.187mv = 1.37v in Bios & Idle Windows and 1.344 Full
i ask my friends later to check their Bios voltages and Coretemp VID
regards
Plastok your right , i check with E6420 of my friend (1.3500v VID ) and :
+0.1875v = 1.52v bios >> 1.50v FULL
+0.200vm = 1.54v bios
im with 402 Bios , anyone already tryed the new 418??
regards
serious, even at 400FSB :D
stop right after POST
Try clockgen boot into window at low FSB, hang at around 380FSB :stick:
I have two pair of rams,
Here is my research:
RAM: Xtreeme 1000C5 1GX2 D9GMH
At 500fsb, 1:1, running fine with NB=1.60V, SB=1.7V, Vtt=1.28V
At 400fsb, 4:5, Stop right after POST no matter what voltages are
At 400fsb, 1:1, NB=1.36V, SB=1.5V, Vtt=1.28V
RAM: Xtreeme 667C3 1GX2 D9GMH
AT At 500fsb 1:1, running fine with NB=1.45V, SB=1.7V, Vtt=1.28V
At 400fsb, 4:5, much better,
NB=1.45V, SB=1.7V, Vtt=1.28V stop after seeing 2nd screen
NB=1.55V, SB=1.7V, Vtt=1.28V BSOD right after loading window
NB=1.65V, SB=1.7V, Vtt=1.28V 9s last for Ortho Blend test
At 400fsb, 1:1, NB=1.36V, SB=1.5V, Vtt=1.28V
seems it is compatibility problem
I remember the same issue with my P5W DH. Only my high binned G. Skill HZ's or a couple of 1GB kits of corsairs (8000UL's & 5400C4's) would run the 4:5 divider. My other G. Skill HZ's & Crucial 10th Anniversary's would boot.
My rams can do 480FSB 4:5 on commando (not stable)
440 4:5 on QuadGT
460 4:5 on P5B-D V1.04, my older version, V1.03 also suck even at 400FSB (401FSB is ok:slapass: )
400 is also on P5W DH, not try higher coz I sold it already :D
now, 400fsb is not stable, it is BIOS problem, I think ;)
I already started a thread:

I don't think its a problem with your ram, I think as you do, a compatablity issue. My G. Skill & Crucial both do over DDR2-1000 on other boards 1:1, 4:5, or 2:3. But on the P5W no joy. Picky ram clocking is why I stopped using it in my gamer/bencher. Since the DFI 965-S is suppose to be my new bencher, replacing the RD600 this could be a problem when it comes to testing ram modules.
this board looks good, also price is good, this confuses me even more on what board should I order
with my Teamgroup 5300 3-3-3-8 micron D9 400FSB 4:5 also have problems
with 1:1 and 2:3 no problems at all
regards
Anybody tested a pci-e raid card with this board?
I'm using the Corsair 620w. Hit 500FSB pretty easily. Can probably go higher, but don't have the time to mess with it till next weekend.
I've got X1800XT Crossfire (master/slave) going with my overclock. The only problems I do have are with ATI's crap drivers, not the board itself.
You can fix the strap at 1066 or 1333...at 1066 you can run over 500Mhz fsb;)
Can you try the difference to spi??
thx
how do you change to the 1333 strap on this mobo, i didnt realize it had that option, i though you could only to 1066
Infinity P965-S stable settings at 400 FSB, 4:5 divider. Most setting were left on Auto. I set processor speed and primary memory timings to match what you listed in your other thread. NB Strap was set at 266.
