Going in a new Antec P182 I picked up at Fry's yesteday :D
Mines on the way, should have it by Tuesday. The BX2 has been a very rough ride for me, hopefully the jumper parade will stop........
Thanks! Waiting for April 22 Intel price cuts to get an E6700 or Q6600, not sure yet. I'll do a test build with my friend's E6600.
Yeah, the cable management was what finally sold me on the P182 -- the pre-cut holes and extra room behind the mobo tray are sweet.
I'm looking forward to the first XS DFI P965-S testing thread!
LOL, looks like all he does is benching. Never knew you could get too powerful a cpu for that.:p:Quote:
I have come to realize this processor is too powerful for what I do.
No SLi = :(
When you fellows get them, post your results.
If you feel you must have the power of two GPUs grab a 8950 when it's released.
Besides being hot, the 680i reference boards have had too many problems for my tastes. Hard disk data corruption when they were first released and lately some weird issue with memory.
Well if this board is good then I will have to hop on it. How does it compare to the P5N-e sli?
Hits 500FSB with stock NB volts, the Asus needs extra volts I believe. DFI looks to have a higher max FSB too. The P5N-e SLI has 1T/2T option and 2x IDE ports though. I love my optical drives (IDE) but I'll still go the DFI over the Asus, which I was previously considering - purely for the overclocking satisfaction.
