This is only partly true. If you shut down cores on the OS level, they still operate and spread heat. They're not doing any real operations, so basically they are IDLE and even on C1 state, but it's not really the same as dual core.

His mate tested the cpu and did the screenshots. Victor will get the cpu tomorrow, then he will do some serious testing with better hardware ;)

btw wr with all 4 core's is for vince with 5.2ghz and he still have more to come i think .
