Yeah, they do have that understated look. Just looks like any noname crap, but it's pretty cool when you know what they can do.
Nice Mik
Thanks Irev.
I have someone that's interested in 2GB. Maybe I might take a risk and see what I get.
It looks like Mikael got older inventory.
All of the new micron is this new D9 stuff, which doesnt seem to be overclocking well.
I just ordered some crucial 2GB 667MHz sticks for my laptop (ddr2 sodimm) and I got D9HNZ. Not really sure the difference between D9HNZ and HNL, seems just about the same.
Im actually really happy because it is twice the density while on smaller chips, so im expecting a boost in laptop battery life. If you can get stuff that was made before ~Feb i would say you have a much higher chance.
Either way, I am really glad to see Micron improving their process. The new memory is sweet. I am sure it is really helping reduce the price of ram for everyone.
Back in stock for $124:

anyone have an pics of the chips from mwave?
it would suck if they are not micron
please read my post.
They are D9HNL, they suck at overclocking. They do not like voltage, and they do not scale well w/o voltage. Figure the max you will get out of these is 5-5-5-15 @ 800MHz w/ 1.8-1.9vdimm.
Not much to look at, they are single sided with a Micron sticker over 4 IC's and a Crucial sticker on the other 4 IC's.
I know it is D9HNL because I pulled the sticker back just enough to take a peek, then safely let it fall back in place.
Still, 125 bucks for some very high quality memory is hard to beat. I will be buying a lot of this stuff.
For interest, I just bought:
Crucial CT2KIT12872AA667 it was D9HNL
Crucial CT2KIT6464AA667 it was D9HNZ
