Samsung for sure.
Who finds out first? or maybe Ryder could tell us?
im with metro, hynix FTW.
Got mine. Will post exclusive Review at HardwareAsylum by end of week. Let me just say they are quite impressive, but Micron are probably still leaders. ;)
After quite a lot of testing... I found out they acted quite weird... over DDR2 1150MHz 4-4-4-5 22-33-3-7-3 at 2.5v... But NOTHING higher at CAS5... ummm... weird.... Wanna know the possible secret behind it?.... They are completely new chips....
Before I slipped off the heatspreader I already had a doubt just because they were acting so uncommonly... Now it's just confirmed... Unless it's just plain relabeling.. But I would doubt.. At my knowledge OCZ never did that and I don't see why they would start... And they are different dimension from what I already saw... And it would be an excellent way for OCZ to expand their profit since they are probably now one of the biggest Memory Manufacturer since a few years.
I AM SHOCKED
These look awfully similar to
3ns parts on Team Value 667

Then that guy doesn't how to overclock... hehe... Those chips will do the same clock on CAS4 then CAS5... hehe....
(just kidding.... Because hats how they reacted to me)
My best guess would be OCZ is getting his IC's made by another manu with their "engineering" and logo.
They look very much like Samsung to me...Quote:

Not really. Those are Powerchip ICs.Quote:

And I didn't know the VX were relabeled, I never played much much with them.
But I still have the feeling OCZ started to manu their chips... Acts way too different from any other I've tested.
I would instead be interested hearing about OCZ about this.
Hey RyderOCZ, you got any results at 1T? can you run 1T Command rate with 4 sticks?
Also you say those sticks are rated at 2.4v ? any chance of pushing them further???
it's the same memory that hicookie posted with that Kingbox ram.

Only difference is that Ocz's is -25H and kingbox is just -25.
Everyone in that thread seemed to think it was elpida.
Nice clocks..
I absolutely love those heatspreaders ;)
