not really, my evap insulation is a 2 pack polyurethane, thats inside a black PVC pipe... as it was still getting loads of condensation ive put a layer of sticky neoprene tape to help with the insulationQuote:

Luke: Don't mind, a friend of mine is the son of a "armaflex dealer". I will add a pipe around it. Really no problem.
It's not really pretty, but it isn't ugly, too. Far away from being "Ghetto". No problem with that. Build that damn monster, our X6800 is begging for lower temps and more Volts... the conroe doesn't care about evap insulation, and all what counts is speed...

insulation gives R value ...........barrier keeps moisture out. Thats why closed cell foam is used it works for both. becarful with the split foam,it never seals completly unless you apply added contact cement to each side.

Memet, Wild Lady will be for sure upset !When I`m working at my workspace I`m still looking at she and i`m sure, that without building Wild Lady I wouldn`t build that unit. Wild Lady was my first really good unit and I`m proud of it. When at last I will deliver WL to you, maybe we will think about Turkish 3 stager...:toast:
For sure, "my" Lady wanted to spend some time with me, so I was busy all the evening, I just wanna sleep now :p I will wake up at 6am and will start brazing (by the way, today I brazed few connections) and tomorrow we MUST see I stage working.

All HX for I stage are done and brazed, there will be SLHX before phase separator. I decided to make smaller phase separator, Blaster`s separators were very small and worked, so why my wouldn`t work ?
Today I stage will work, I`m sure about that :) Now I`m eating dinner and will go back to work.

Nice work Luke :). But damn, how do you get those HX's so small :eek: :confused: . They must be such a pain in the a$$ to bend that small. I'm guessing 1/4" in 1/2" ? How long are they :)?
You`re right about dimensions of pipes, about how long are they, two smaller one are about 2,3m, the longest one (biggest) is a little bit more than 3m.
I`m bending HX on mapp gas bottle :)
UPDATE ! I stage finished, leack tested with 18 bars, now vacuuming ! Today will insulate it and charge with R290/R23 (thx Johann).

Looks like some of those HX's are kinked though, or maybe the pipe is just oval and not round anymore. I hope that wont hurt performance. Keep up the good work!
