damn. I just started fooling with the 1:1 more yesterday and the best I get so far is 3028 unbuffered with 2-5-3-2 timings at 231fsb with pc3500 HyperX. The Ram is only a week and a half old, so I need more burn in. I also think I need to do a fresh install as my performance has been going down lately for some reason. Then again I am no Macci, so I don't expect to get those numbers!;)
Hey BT nice numbers. You and Prometheus have got me hooked on unbuffered versus buffered Sandra.

The difference between your bench and bigtoe's bench is clean.... but 250 cas3 843 and 238 cas2 522 aren't 100% comparable for me....
Instead, I think that at the same fsb the high timings are better than a low timings and low speed (as a 200 cas 2 522)....

keep in mind Bigtoes benches were on a single channel board
As far as I know the Aopen mobo is a i875 dual channel Canterwoody :)
Also 250 1:1 in single channel mode would produce a score of around 2300MB/s.

I have seen several people doing over 250fsb 1:1 with canterwoods using twinmos 3700 at half the price of this ocz stuff and better timings . so thats what ive ordered. Ive even seen someone run 355fsb with this stuff at 2.85v (duno if it was 3:2 or 5:4 but even at 3:2 thats 268fsb). Probably wasnt stable but if this cheap twinmos can do that at 2.85v.....

I have some twinmos here and none of them do more than 2.5 3-6-3 , so thats why I am asking ?
The 238 1:1 on P4C800 was at Vmem of 3.14V. On IC7 the mem does 250 1:1 2-5-2-2.
Also talking about single channel benches..
Just ran one at 313FSB 5:4 500DDR 2-5-2-2. And it indeed was a bit over
2300MB/s
these are just the 256mb models correct?
im interested in the 512mb ocz sticks..

TwinMOS on Aopen = 2500MB/s in memtest86 at ddr500
BIG diference eh?
Forget that im using slow timings as they just DON'T count with this ram.Running 1:1 im sure nothing can beat it under 2.7V.

I doubt best mem out is just rated for ddr466. you might reach 500 but 600 is pushing your luck
Been playing with the P4P800 and the 3700 Gold.While the board is fast I can not get it as fast as the Aopen but i can clock it a little further.

If warranty only goes to 2.8v.. doesnt give you much at all to play with..

dont you find that extremely strange though bigtoe? Ive never in my life seen 2 sticks of different ram, running the same timings and speeds get different scores. every test ive ever seen has put 2 sticks running the same speeds at virtually identical scores.Quote:

buffered: 3360/3123

identical speeds, identical scores on my stuff anyway even though its amd not intel. (p.s. those arent my max speeds thats just what i happened to be on when i tested).
Many have asked to see the ram at rated speed and timings.Im using a 2.6C so the figures would be higher with a 3C so please keep this in mind.

However, the new Winbond CH-5 based modules are also quite good, any of you has any experiences with them ? TwinMOS, Buffalo, AData, whatever, as long as they are CH-5.
I hear they don't like aggressive timmings, just like the OCZ Gold.
