Just for comparison,this is a screenshot from hipro with a P5B dlx,during a internal contest with spi32M@3600 at thelab.gr.Quote:

This is the best I have managed with 1TQuote:

1T tops out for me at 450mhz 4-3-3-4 1T with memtest bandwidth only at 5028-5209MB/s which is short of what 600mhz 5-3-3-3 2T is at 5400+ MB/s. And i can test higher at 640mhz 5-4-3-x 2T later so definitely for my memory 2T will end up faster than max 1TQuote:

I have left them in auto.I also have to say that I had to set the NB voltage to 1.6v to make the system able to finish spi.
tRef and async left at auto, trd you can play with ;) :D
520mhz 4-3-3-4 2-1-2-6-20 2T at 2.3v
Now to look for a compromise between max memory clocks with high vdimm and more reasonable lower vdimm and suitable memory clocks which have very tight sub timings.
I ended up with 520mhz 4-3-3-4 2-1-2-6-20 2T at 2.3v vdimm bios set. Only ~1.39 seconds slower in 32M Super Pi than 533mhz 4-3-3-4 3-1-3-6-30 2T at 2.35v run but uses 0.05 vdimm less! Interestingly, 520mhz run was faster in 1M Super Pi due to tighter sub timings at 13.938s (520mhz) vs 13.969s (533mhz).

Well 1 second faster at 3600mhz, and also did 3612mhz and 3647mhz runs to see what it takes on 680i striker to hit sub 13min 05s times for 32M

eva, Great Post!!!
I'll give some of these setting a go tonight on my PLUS board w/ my Ballistix and see how they compare. Is 2.50 vdimm safe for MEM 24/7?
great review eva.. :)Quote:

nope.. 2.5v for benching only... you'd want to keep vdimm under 2.3-2.35v if possible.. don't go crazy on voltagesQuote:

last week thay have a good deal.. only 265$ after the MIRQuote:

i miss this deal.. :(
This is the best I could do on 1T topped up phil by a sliver :D:D:D
This is also at 3.6ghz
I can't manage to do anything on 2T with this 1002 bios.
Yes!. 680i loves tight memory timings and is exellent memory overclocking board.
I have 2gb dualchannel D9D running DDR950@4-3-3-1T and its only at 2,25V!
Im not using dualcore CPU yet. Im running Celeron D356@4,8Ghz. 1,47V
PC does Spi under 29sec. Friend is running badaxe2 and same celeron with same D9D. He can get timings only ddr950 4-4-4-2T and he has Spi time only ~31sec.

very nice tight timings.. :)
eva or anyone else with the striker board...
will the p5n32-e sli plus be able to do this or does the nb chip play a factor since the p5n32-e plus and striker/p5n32-e non-plus have different NB chips?

hey eva what did you set your trd to?
Tip of the cap to Eva2000 for yet another great thread. I finally got around to playing with my eVGA mobo (two months late) and the fun factor on memory is very high! I'm still testing out CAS5 and have started to tighten the secondary timings. However (little bit off topic) I have a question regarding tRTC and if there is a big jump in voltage required to drop it down to 3. My board violently objected at the same vdimm and a quick .05 jump didn't change a thing. I'll try to push a bit more on speed and go after the secondary timings again and include Memset in the screenshot so you can see them when I'm done. In the meantime here's where I am. Suggestions very welcome. :D I had the wrong tab up on the CPU-Z shot that had the memory ID. These stick are the ones from the Deals section titled BUFFALO Firestix 2GB (2 x 1GB) DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) $174.98

Quick update. Getting anxious to try out CAS4 now. Had a hard time getting under 14minutes.

very nice memory for a price like that.. :) thanks for sharing..Quote:

ineedaname, try between 1 and 7... 7 i think is default value when AUTO is set for tRD
