I would imagine that cooling results would be more favorable if the fans, (used in either a induced draft, forced or a combination) are parallel with the row of heat pipes

That thing was really able to cool off this chipset which seemed to be cooking on all of the other heatsinks. How loud is this thing with 2x104cfm 120mm fans?
