AgenaFX ES CPUz screen shoots?

As i wrote in the K8L-Thread, these pics are from a friend whos working at AMD. In the past i got many true infos about coming AMD products from him, but also a few which were wrong. I trust him, cause hes a good friend (even he is over 40 years old^^). I dont know why he told me to hide the v-core, but i know why i he told me to do the same with the code-name.

Think again, if i wanted to fake a pic like that, i would take a quadcore, name him Agena or Altair, oc him to 3,4GHz and put a watermark an the pic with "w0mbat is the king".

All these times, you were asked to provide a link to validation and this is all you came up with.

Sorry, hard to trust you.
And it is even harder to trust someone who spams around.

U can ask me how long u like, but its nor my cpu, so i cant do a valdation. I asked him and if i get a link i will show it.

A spammer (in this case) is someone who posts the exact same message on various places in order to achieve something.

i don't blame him for posting the news several places , we can all get caught up in news and post like crazy about it , i just don't see amd releasing a desktop version of the cpu at the same time as the server version , amd does not have the compacity for that , even intel released it's server version of the conroe first , then the conroe , and then the mobile version , so if intel can have a compacity problem , i don't see why amd would not have the same problem

by the way the same thing about posting news on a on coming cpu has happened to me too , especially about being wrong about it

I won't say that those two screenshots are fake because I do not believe they are fake. However, you should realize that you do need more proof.

stop whining acusa, if it turns out his screen wasnt fake then u will be happy cuz you´ve seen it as one of the first. so stop whining bout spam. and have u read computer tech news sites and news forums lately? look there when u want to see spamm..even the niveau in xs news forum is hard to top even by the Inq lately...so much bs and so called news which turn out to be crap and are falsified 2 hours later by another "news"...iam blathering...

I seriously don't see why people need to slam a member who tries to bring some news to the forum...
As of late the only thing I see around here is fake, restrictive, too expensive, too late, WTF, useless and what not.... try to give some constructive criticism instead of the usual bickering...

It's really getting annoying to enter every single thread and read the same crap comments over and over again....

That's odd that CPUZ don't report SSE4 & the name is reported as a Opty 1220, clocked at 2.8ghz too.

That is because it probably is a Kuma ES, which is supposed to clock between the 2,3-2,9 GHz IIRC and the 'wrong' information by CPU-Z is most likely because CPU-Z doesn't recognize this chip yet.

cpuz can recognize SSE4 :stick:

But K8L dosnt have SSE4. It has SSE4A or SSE128 and thats different to Intels SSE4.

What I don't get is,
the Brisbane core is Model B, Stepping 1, Ext Model 6B.
That one is Model B, Stepping 1, Ext Model B3.
Why a latter CPU would have a lower Ext Model id ?

madcho, cpu-z would reconize SSE4A if it knows what it is.
If SSE4A != SSE4 != SSSE3 it may simply ignore it.
