Maybe google turns up nothing because there is little known? I have heard exactly nothing about that board in reality. Takes a good deal more effort on 965 to make it x8 and x8 so if the board did appear...I would expect it to be more than 16x * 4x boards.

ya u r right , except in only one case if the E4300 will be cheaper and will still overclock as high as the E6300/E6400

Wow, this mobo DOES look quite good. I hope that it is around the DS3 price point... maybe I will sell my DS3 and buy it, if initial results are really good.

in discussiond with DFi it seems clear that the infinity 965 is using the 1066strap where the asus has switched to 1333strap automatically.

That's not looking at the cpu/mobo as a system with pieces that should compliment each other, sure every decent mobo will work with the 4300, but the point is you don't need high FSB to o/c with that cpu, so a 965 chipset might not be the best choice.Quote:

That's why this is being referenced as more of a 6300 mobo, if the 4300 gives out at ~3600mhz, this thing would more than likely be overkill, and not playing into the strength of the allendale.
