Anyone fancy helping someone in the UK out? ;)
Heh, I might cancel the 10th anniversary sticks for the Tracers. I'm willing to bet it's the same bin D9, but you never know, the Tracer is their best RAM. When I get a chance over my lunch break, if the 10th Anniversary hasn't shipped I'll switch to Tracer. The only thing holding me back is that they charged the credit card immediately, how quickly do they charge back?
At this point I think the tracers are a better buy and if you decide to selling them later down the road you might be able to get more out of the tracer than the 10th Anniversary specially in non Overclocking Market or even Ebay. As returning your money, Newegg is one of the best. Anf finally, yes, I do beleive they are the same high binned ICs.Quote:

Well the 10th Anniversary have been taken off from Newegg's inventory already.......:slapass: I just think to a regular Joe PC2 8000 would look more appealing that PC2 5300.Quote:

Well, there is a way to return it w/o the 15% restocking fee. Simply refuse the package....I know this because I've done it before.Quote:

Lol, it's really not a big deal to me. I was all ready to buy the regular PC5300 Ballistix when I saw this thread.Quote:

Seriously. I just missed two great memory sales. This and the Pc8000 Ballistix tracers.Quote:

The thing about Crucial is I believe their manufacturing consistency is pretty good. So even their worst D9MGH is close percentage % -wise to their top D9MGH.Quote:

I assume that D9MGH bin is pretty narrow. I mean I really haven't seen a poor performing D9MGH. Sure some are better than others, but they are all pretty close. I'm thinking PCB/heatspreader design (like the dominators) are mattering more than bin differences in D9MGH.
P.S. Aren't you the man sitting on a stockpile on Micron who was going to do somekind of shootout? I would be very interested in seeing your results.
lol for real... sig says 25 gigs... that's 2.5 more than i have...Quote:

Well come to think of it....There may be some ICs in D9MGH that fall close to D9CGT and some that fall close to D9GKX. But the majority seem right in the middle. One reason I think D9GKX is so rare is because most of their D9 production is pretty consistent for hitting the "middle".
