I didn't say German stuff, i said German style, referring to your tube size, fittings, pump/top and block off course.
But as long as it pleases you it's fine, your temps sure look cool.
Any idea on the size of the brackets? [edit] damn you're quick. ;)
Yes for a couple months, not sure yet. Still playing with the frame and talking with some ppl that are in the metal bizz. Building your own frame can be very time consuming. So i rather autocad the frame and let them produce it.Quote:

How far is your costum case project? carbon will be a major $$ eater.. cant find cheap plates anywhere.. i want to use some in my case.. U have any adresses?
i use 25x25 tubing, same as they use to build aquarium frames.. works out perfect!Quote:

the carbon, yea, isn't cheap.. i got my stuff from here :
Carboning
The tubes i orderd will be in in a few days i hope, then i can start building the frame. I have used these tubes before, thats why i chose them. Carbon fiber sheets are here, and Aluminium sheets are on order. Also using some AC-Ryan stuff like the alu/plexi and mesh sheets..
ow, i get my plexi from Bouwplastics
Smoothy wagons is a german firm that makes so WC stuff.Quote:

German style ^^, yeah well i find the fittings have a clean look. Rather not use clamps. Use to have 13mm tubing, but doest make a lot of differnce.
I hope i can get the temps down with some 1 or 2 degree's because i still have allot of air in the system.
you can always use a chiller from Overcooling.nlQuote:

On an unrelated note, how'd your cat start losing his sight in that one eye? Old age, illness, some sort of genetic anomaly in sphynxes?
Great idea on the frame, does not cost much super!Quote:

There is also an ebay shop: http://stores.ebay.de/Carbon-Shop
Using the mats on ALU will also give a nice result and is much cheaper.
Yeah AC-Ryan acryl plates are nice, but im still looking for an other alternativ.
thanks for the links! i paid 450 euro's for 2 plates of 130 x 100 cm (1mm).Quote:

So his thirth eye got grow uppon his eye. That can be fixed with an operation.
But we will know more when he is 2 years old. Only 4 months old right now.

Phase is not really my thing, i find them rather big.
Yeah, allready got the MIPS chipset planned. The brigde gets realy hot.
I got it running for 1 min, not cooled and it starts to get over 100c.
With the supplyed fan, i get the temps around 60c bit to high!
what kind of temps were you getting when you had it overclocked so I can compare mine to yours since mine seem a little high to say the least
BAH! nice job
p8ntslinger676
Old setup was running at 22.4c normal and with 100% load @ 26.7c CPU @ 3856MHZ.
New setup will go for 3900 - 4000 mhz, will post temps later. First i need to get the air out tomorrow.
Quest_7F
Whats the BAH part? ^^
Did some updates in the main post, more will follow in couple of hours.
Been to busy with polishing and didnt feel like using the laptop. So hopefully i can update on daily basis again.
Nice job you're doing there! And that for a temp case.. where did you get the springs for the 10/8 hoses?
Got them from salland, not to far from my house. There not as good as the steel springs that i use to have. But the do there job. Starting to polish my cd-rom.. a real pain i can tell u.. not sure if i will polish it completely or that i will build a alu cover case.. seen some nice 0.5mm plate that i could use for that.Quote:

My custom case is back to the drawing board, I found a company that is willing to build the parts for me, but i need to have some new autocad drawings.. so we can chatter about the price. Well im not in a hurry since i got this case so i can take my time for that project.
Hi,
Lovely work so far, and nice cat. Shame about his eye, hope it gets sorted out.
With the white USB/Audio/Firewire cables that you braided, did you remove the white wire covering, or did you just braid over the top?
I'm doing a very similar project involving a lianli v1200 at the moment :)
Went over it, thats easy with a flexsleeve :) be sure to melt it a bit before u do it :)Quote:
