Just Unzip it create a CD and call it P5B Series this shuld work
Let me know if it worked.. If it doesnt I can add more files :toast:
īLotzi try going back to the 804 from the 0908 or 0910 :fact:
says reading file P5BD.ROM from CD-Rom and then it says P5BD.Rom not found on CD-Rom.......looks like it needs more files from the CD.
is it possible that it needs more files from the CD?
because without the CD it says CD-Rom not found.
i get the same error message with my custom CDs as well with renames 0804 and afudos.exe in it.

Did u unpack/unzip the file first?
yep....extracted its content and burned it on a CD.
it seems to be looking for something else as well but not sure what.
maybe some startup files and not just the bios files.
someone pls hook me up with the entire content of the CD pls......i'm not sure the local PC shop would let me copy one off their retail stock.
Bios works fine here, system seems to run a little better in games, clocks are the same.
So is this new bios a fake? Where's the change log?

It's real, just seems to be kinda buggy...but then again, it's a beta. Unfortunately we don't have a changelog, so no one even knows what changes it's employed.Quote:

Me too. I flashed others beta bios before without any problem.
"all people who flashed 0910 are happy and works fine"
No, I'm not. I recovered from bootblock.
Back to 908!
Anybody get to the bottom of this temp reading issue? I have my QX6700 on P5B Deluxe, just added Vapochill LS. LS reads -32c on evap, but bios and Speedfan always read -4c. Probe is really borked, always reads 252c, so I really don't know what my core temps really are.Quote:

I just flashed to 910 with no problems. I see no difference in Oc or stability over 0908.
same here, no changes.

The vapochill temp reading is obviosly just the evaporator temp. The core temp may be closest to the bios reading. Pay no attention to any other reading except a couple of apps may report a minus temp closer to the bios incl MBM5 and maybe Everest in some versions. I have a vapo LS on a highly overclocked X6800 at 1.6v and my evap temps start at -48 deg and bios in the - 30's, so you may want to check your unit. Those evap temps seem high. Then again I see you have a Q, so maybe not.Quote:

What bios are you using?? I know that the LS temp is the darn evap temp. The point is that the bios and everything that uses it to read out temps shows -4c, and it doesn't change whether under full or no load, so it obviously isn't correct. How can I get the correct core temps? I have read in other threads that some of the bios's lock up at -4c at anything under 0.Quote:
