Running an E6600 at 1.58 volts on air is really not a very good idea at all.
What are you using to measure the temp at 82 ? and is this idle ( I certainly hope not.....) or under load ??

You say you don't now what to do? well its kinda obvious either a) Get a decent cooling system (water etc..) or b) Run at a sensible overclock.

The radiator looks like the best part in that litlle radical ensemble, resembles the Alphacool NexXxos extreme a lot. Laing pump is ok, but not the best. Waterblock is doubtfull.

You really can't top EVA's setup imo : the storm and thermochill combo are about the best you can get, if not the best (I wouldn' expect any less from EVA2000 lol).

You might want to check out the Alphacool NexXxos block I've got, it comes close to the storm and should be a little cheaper. Radiator wise I'd go for the new Danger Den series today in triple or quad form : the Black Ice GTX series. For the pumps you really can't go wrong with a eheim, laing or oase pump, but make sure it's powerfull enough, certainly when you've got a storm waterblock.

I've got my QX6700 seemingly stable @ 4.2 Ghz @ 1.608V (bios readout) in my P5B dlx. I did some 4x superpi testing earlier today, and that sucker gets hot I tell you.... HOT :D

In about 2 minutes the temp on my Mach II GT display went from -55 to -40.... It eventually settled in around the -38 territory while 4x superpi'ing but I'm sure it won't take many mV's more on the cpu to make my Mach II GT cave in (i.e. overheat) .... :p:

No way I would dare give it that much Vcore on air.

If that is 1.608 in BIOS have you checked how many volts your CPU is getting after Vdroop?

in CPU-Z maybe?
and yes, I am not going much over 1.5 vcore on air myself :)

I wouldn't recommend TEC for a Quad-core, as it might be hard to find a TEC that could actually handle the heat load of one. With Jinu having trouble keeping his single-stages tuned to handle the heat, I'd be very careful if you ever thought about TEC for one of these chips. If it gets overloaded, it will cook your CPU. Literally.

No, I haven't checked with my multimeter yet, but I will. Just put the system together 2 days ago. I might do a droop mod, but for 24/7 stability, I can't give it much more Vcore anyway. With a droop mod I might be able to lower the idle Vcore a few notches though. This system is going to be my everyday workstation, so I'm not going for max oc, I'm going for max speed at total stability.
