Now on 1066-strap and 500MHz 1:1, but can't get much lower.. B1 and just 2x512MB holding me back.

great result considering it's a b1 and 1GB total :toast:Quote:

that's the 4:5 ratio i was talking about that P5B has a problem withQuote:

Imho 965P just do not like Fatbodies at all.. that sucks.
from memory that RAM is fatbody.........and there is just something about freaking Anus and fatbody....it likes some and hates othersQuote:

Ok thx, it seems that i have to invest a few hours more as i already did to get the ballistix working.. :p:Quote:

cpu speed bounces around a touch for some reason. Not bad for defualt memory sub timings and and zero windows tweaks =)

....lol....Misko82:D im glad it was you who beat my score, but of course i had a better one i wanted to show off 1M-14,78....no need now... Think i posted that on hwbot.
Let me see you take down 32M-13,50sec.
I cannot improve my scores with E6300,i sold the bugger, got some E6600 action coming soon.
----cheers----
:toast:
Sorry but no more Spi from me and e6300 :( I sold my CPU, maybe I will try someday under ice :toast:Quote:

Unfortunately the board's limit is 435MHz (Asus P5W DH deluxe) so for now i'm maxed out @ 3.9GHz.
Might hit around 12.5seconds @ 3.99GHz and some memtimings tweaking.
That's quite solid for 3.9GHz Zeus, keep on going. Unlike 965, you will notice a small improvement going from 4-4-4 to 4-4-3 btw. CAS 4 to CAS 3 is about .03 sec. If you get around to modding the board you should see quite an improvement. I had one that topped at ~430 umodded and made it to 475 benchable for 1M Pi with 2.1v vmch.
Bigger clocks and quicker times than AMD eh. :p:
Thanks. :)
2.1Vmch? how did you cool the NB?
I'm considering watercooling on the NB, and maybe the Vmch mod, 1.65V just doesn't seem to cut it.
I only have this setup for 2 days so i have to learn a lot about this board, mem and cpu, it 's quite different to an Opteron, NF4 and DDR1. :D
Atm i'm runing Orthos at 3.6GHz only 1.4375Vcore in bios, so CPU seems rather nice.
For sure i will come up with better score's at under 4GHz, just to keep this thread alive. :D ;)
Norz your ram can do 540 at cas 4, why did you use cas 5?
And I did 4Ghz Pi time on my E6300 as well, but its no where near full-fledged conroes' results (4MB cache), which is why I haven't posted it.
14.266s is just too much >.<
Result with E6600. Mem @ 3-3-3-8 G.Skill 6400PHU2-2GBHZ @ 2.35V
Dunno how to get it better @ sub 4ghz.
http://www.giga-design.nl/12.7.np.PNG
i finally got a 4MB conroe and had some time today to play. this is about the best i could squeeze out of my P5B-Dlx.
i could only ClockGen up to 420FSB on the 4:5 divider, if i could run 444 on the tight strap with the 4:5 i am sure i could
get a couple more hundredths off this time.
444*9 (boot at 400) 3-4-3-4 1:1 = 12.593
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2..._boot400-1.png
571*7 (boot at 571) 4-4-4-4 1:1 = 12.594

well sometimes im lazy:p: ...that run i did again with4-4-4-10 who is a golden setting for my Crucial. Think i posted that on hwbot, cant remember.Quote:

EDIT: Heres sub 4Ghz@E6400 14.078sec
Ofcourse i can do this with 4-3-4-8@2.4v ...test tomorrow,i drinking beer now...lol...

The best i could do:

At 3999MHz it must be pretty damn close to 12,5 sec.
Very nice times, fastest here so far for i965. :clap:Quote:

Very nice 3ho6. Wil have another go with 571 :D
3-3-3 was no go at this speed, that's why i went with 4-3-3.
It's Gskill 6400HZ with micron chips.
Don't know what exactly fatty's are, i'm brand new to Intel and DDR2, forgive my noobness. ;)
Fatbodies is what i have for example, old Micron D9 with bigger package and 90nm instead of 80nm from newer D9s. ;)
Now with my full amount of ram, but my OCZ need 2,6V to get through 1M with that speed and timings..
