nice WWM :)
hi windwithme - please note any voltages changes necessary to get the board to 500fsb...thanks
Seems like a real successor of LP nf4ultra (judging by BIOS) ;)
OT - get kinda strange feeling when seeing AMD manager for Intel :D
I really like that mobo ;)
regards
Right about now Jan. 17th feels like it's about a year away.... heheQuote:

Looks good so far, that just might be my next board.
know this question is "unpopular" here, but - what about the price on this upcoming gem? for a feature build it's quite a question (summer 2k7)...
Perhaps it's just me, and perhaps things will change as people start exploring the options, but what I get from this review and Tony's initial feedback in the Intel forum is:
1. Insane amount of BIOS options.
2. Overall performance falls between existing boards.
Am I off-base on this?

What i mean is that in my case it performs the same as my P5B deluxe at 450x8 1:1.
But, with this board you can run 450x8 and have the DDR at 600MHZ. Something i cannot even touch on the P5b. So you can get more performance out of it that way.
Off topic but those little creatures are freaking me out
I thought I was seeing things untill they kept appearing in all your pics
That is windwithme signatureQuote:

Big plus compared to P5B. Would like to see the difference between for example 11x363 1:1 and 8x500 mem 363, same timings.Quote:

anyways, so far so good! beats asus 680i!
i'm worried about max fsb and the usual bios bugs.
MAX=>1.6V x 121.25%=>1.94V :)Quote:

Good, thats plenty of voltage for air
Thanks for the preview windwithme.
Awaiting some good benches from other retail samples :slobber:
There will be a final BIOS with more than 511 FSB correct?
Seems like they could have made the addition voltage read as 1-3v or so instead of percentage, would be easier.
What's with the Pink!
lol mark, I doubt whether anyone's gonna have the balls for that. Review sample etiquette at it's best..Quote:

those chipset tempretures are nothing for 24/7, though.
i hope it isn't getting that warm at lower clocks, too:stick:
thanks for the pics and info!
