Got it working for now. Cores show 0 or 71 with mach.

motherboard independent. just requires a CPU based on Intel Core technology (Yonah, Merom, Conroe, Allendale, Woodcrest, Kentsfield, Clovertown, etc)Quote:

I still need the guys with the quad cores to test and post up. My quad core is not installed right now.
im in for quad test...drop me an email
Motherboard Monitor 5.3.7.0 is lastest ?
Out of curiosity, is there an updated MBM motherboard list or something? If not, what should I tell it my 680i is? Or will it even work with the 680i? :P
I have a Kent and a Clovertown setup

MBM5 on the S3 wolud be great - please post a link if you find some config files. Btw. I remember someone here on XS posting to have (D)S3 configured with MBM.Quote:

Just tested your final version Kris, but it shows Core 0 - 0'C Core 1 - 0'C :(
That'd be awesome! I have mbm5 installed on all of my pcs but only on my latest addition (gigabyte s3) refuses to cooperate. :slapass:Quote:

82°C + 22°C and not showing it in the dashboard?
Edit: 22°C should match Core 1, it is the same temperature on CoreTemp.
probably a driver load issue. i changed it from hardcoded to API read. can you give me the full path to you drivers directory? Should be something like "C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers"Quote:

Also, please tell me what OS you are running (with what SP) and your CPU type.Quote:

that's definately good to know. the strange thing is that the code has nothing to do with load or cooling or anything. the driver simply retrieves the data and passes it to the plugin which passes it to MBM5. What exact does the 8x read say? if its greater than 85 then something is definately wrong as 85 is the max that should be reportable (anything greater would mean that the DTS sensor is a negative number...)Quote:

Kris,
MBM Update 2 + Coretemp plugin = :woot:
http://img178.imageshack.us/img178/7...empmbm5cd5.png
I'm getting a strange vcore value coming out?
pcprobeII and everest = 1.45v but still, awesome work
i got the same thing happening for the "normal" cpu temp not the dts, its a mbm thing for sure, my normal temp goes 10-15c higher than it should
? I made MBM report cpu temp 18degrees higher so it would match coretemp..
the log works now, but i dont have time to test for the "inacurate high temp", but even with the newest version im still getting both sensors reading the core#1 temperature
