But surely there is a diference in aesthetics... :)
the difference is so small, that it could be measured only with some high-tech equipement, but I dare to say that gold-plated block would come on topQuote:

gold plated blocks... where? Any shiny pics?:D
Is the copper plated directly or is it nickel plated first?
I ask because i read that copper, if plated directly will stain the gold over some time. And I'm wondering if that is really an issue and does anyone know how long it takes for copper to "leak" through gold?

Well fullcover blocks dont give as much value for money because they can only be used on 1 card (fairly obviously), but given the large number of components on an 8800GTX/S that would need cooling with RAMsinks a fullcover block is perhaps a better and neater solution.

Ha ha :)
There will be a delay of 2 days.
Nothing serious ;)
Pics!!! :)
Water cooling newb question. What is special about delrin plastic over the acrylic? I like the clear tops, is it just for look? As neither plastic is corrosive.
I think that delrin is less prone to crack over time, looks sexier to some.
i want those blocks! now i jsut need to actually have a 8800gts to put one on!
I HAVE ONE!!!!!!!! Now just need a block
