Will you try to go higher with better cooling on the cpu and mobo or you think that is enough
________
herbal vaporizer
well, the board certainly has more left to give.Quote:

I can get to 585 FSB without any real problem, other then I simply have no ram capable of 1200 mhz on the P5B Deluxe...
so theres definatly more room left to improve this OC, atleast another 10FSB or more if I can find a set of ram that will go higher.
Wow dude that's an awesome CPU ! Do you plan to put it on LN² ? I can't wait to see that !

holy ¤%&/()! :)

You live in Alaska just take the system out to your balcony remove your case sides and the X1900CF then use low end gpu and divider on the memory then take a suicide shotQuote:

highest validation.
4661 mhz.

absolute top OC.
this is where it froze...
differences this time.
removed slave card from Crossfire, removed sound card, disconnected floppy and CD Drives, disabled the JMicron controller, and USB was running without USB2.0 support. OS recently reinstalled. waited for a colder morning. :D
dang man, that is one heck of an OC on air! hell of nice clocks on the E6400 there! lets see some 5GHz action when your winter really cranks in over there in alaska
Not Air.Quote:

whatevers in it, is real cold though.
Nice man, that is HUGE for what cooling you are using. :o Congrats.
IMO that's a great SuperPi 32m time for an E6400 on 965. Darn fine overclocking too. Good show.

when you want to bench - get a PCI videocard and raise PCI-E freq to the max.
Then you will get less chance of being mobo-limited :)
BTW - no validation @ 4.66Gig ?
I already know...Quote:

Wow,
That is really a sick E6400 chip :woot:
congrats
ohh, I thought you said air... anyways, just keep the clocks coming, 5GHz should be possible with a divider on the mem
how know get a old card and push
the E6400 ($229) is the best cost/performance CPU
btw ,how about your E6400 3D Stability
(the Max benchable 3DMark06 CPU score is ...?)
4.3 ghz so far.
daily speed is 4.13 ghz at 1.5 volts.
That's some nice value for the price of this CPU, don't you think. :DQuote:

Agree with charlie, congrats :toast:
Buy another FC for i965, voltmod it, and go for 8x600 :D
I really wish I had some ram that could do 1200 in this board.Quote:

thats whats really holding me back so far.
all the ram I use can do 1200 easy at 1:2... but I dont think MHz at 1:2 is the same as doing it at 1:1.
if I had some ram that could do 1200... even a single 512 stick.... I think I could hit the 600 mark...
I really should hook this up to the cascade... but damn thats so much work (Atleast 4-5 hours to get it set up and properly sealed and ready to use in my case, its alot to move)
it would be fun though to do more then "see" 4.6+ ghz. :D
