because they're too goddamn fast thats why! Bloody Intel and their chipsets ;) Its no fun playing when its "easy" to beat with an Intel rig... macci only had to air cool his Radeon to beat OPP's superchilled one in 3Dmark.Quote:

I'm keeping my 1700+ chip as well though.
That's COOOOLLLLL Gamer67.......Thanks...... :D :toast:
JC Look at this Pi-fast bench......How it seams????.....EVEN this(AMD) bench WILL be "history" for AMD CPU's......SOOONNNNN ;) :D
Those systems are DAMN fast man.....!!!... :slobber:
Yes I think so.
Canterwood is just TOO fast ... the AMD CPU will always be stronger in this area but the Nforce platform is no match for Canterwood....
I just ordered IC7-G @ 164 euro. I dont have a CPU yet but will improvise.

Sorry I been away guys...I'm not even keeping up with my own thread:) Once I wrap up some family business here shortly, I'll post some benche pics.
But, in the meantime, know that my results are pretty much on par with Gamer67 with Pi times at 35 sec, 3DMark2001SE scores over 18000 (with R9700 and zero vid card OC), Sandra scores in the mid 50K range.
Be back in a bit:)

Well I think the 3.0Ghz 800fsb pricing is verry comparable with a barton 3000+.Quote:

time to get a new computer
you guys in belgium have it cheap, only €200? here it costs £170 which is around €245, plus it's not in stock.
We are closer to the Germans; not good in 1918 :D but now it IS good :D
//edit: Oh, and 475€ is NOT what I call cheap :p
Not really any louder than usual for an active NB solution:)Quote:
