You think 3X like the old NF4 boards to get higher clocks? I figured we could finally leave it at 5X now, no??Quote:

MIGHT even be HIGHER when it's actually in stock. ZZF is infamous for increasing the price when they get a new product.Quote:

I ordered a BadAxe2 this afternoon though, so I won't be getting this. :(
Kunaak... which program you used to monitor whether the 500 fsb is stable in the MB ?? dual 32M Pi ?? :confused:Quote:

Linky for the lazy :)
I beleave suggested retail is suppose to be 329.99 but everyone knows how new stuff works, bad newegg :slapass:
cpu area looks really clean is perfect for a single stage :)
Thats a big reason why I ordered its little brother. Plus that board was only about $250.Quote:

Its far cheaper on other sites, ive seen it for just over 1000.00.
So yes, its becoming the norm for newegg, I always thought they had great prices, but now im more aware of the gouging, i'll be shopping around more.
I'm pretty sure i read this answer in another thread somewhere, and the answer was no, it doesnt have that problem.Quote:

If this board can push 500 fsb in regular basis, no matter if its Conroe or Allendale, than it's worth it. But for now... maybe it'll get better with new bios. Unless you need a SLI board.
By norm, good is expensive but expensive may not be good.
Just received my order conformation from Newegg... cant wait!!!
i never paid more than $250 for a mobo, and never will. $409 for a mobo is too much(newegg) or $330 the MSRP
That's dissappointing. Guess will have to see the R600 boards
I think you mean the RD600 board.Quote:

Thank You
Did you seriously just quote all of those pictures just to ask that question? Please don't do that.
It's ASUS Probe II.
The eVGA 680i mobo has BIG problems when using 8800 SLI together with ANY kind of sound, no matter which soundcard, even onboard is broken. Totally ear and brain destroying screaching and crackling etc...
But ONLY when using 8800 cards running in SLI mode!
See this threads at eVGAs forum.

The problem is official now, and nvidia is working on this, as stated here by an official eVGA Tech-guy
Could you please test whether this bug is alive on the Asus Striker Mainboard as well?Quote:

If there is a major design flaw with all 680i mainboards, the world has to know.
Can anyone tell me if the Big Typhoon VX will fit on this board without coming in contact with the copper heatsinks?
