I took a risk and flashed it with gtx bios (nvflash -4 -5 -6 to override board id mismatch) it works! At 700/2000 = 203xx on 3dmark 05. but i dont know if the extra stream prosessors unlocked.
If you remembered what you got before bios flash you could compare :)
~350 marks
i think the difference comes only from the higher delta gts(1200) gtx(1350)
Very lucky for you that the card is working. I've even heard stories of dead cards that couldn't be flashed back (though not 8800 models). Considering the 768 vs 640 MB RAM of these cards, your risk was even higher. It would be nice if the shaders were unlocked this way, but I don't expect this to be so easy, considering NVIDIAs tight policy with GeForce 7 seriesQuote:

where's the results ? :OO

No I haven't, but it works just like primarion 3535.
I undo my Vmod. Card was too hot with aircooling. I have to mod my swiftech waterblock and watercool this hottie :D
what are you temps like @ 1.3v?
Idle 58. Load ~80+
Too much for me..
would it be ok to do a pencil mod? as the resister is to small for my to solder LOL.Quote:

It might be too hard to pencil, because value is so low. You can try, but measure after every stroke and double-check resistance before you start your computer. Even small decrease of resistance increases voltage a lot.
Be careful.
I just tested vmem mod. It works really well.
Original voltage 1.81V max overclock: 2060MHz
I tryed 1.95V (GTX default) and max oc: 2200 without artifacts.
I didn't see much improvement in 3Dmark scores for some reason.
Wierd that your 3dmark score did not go up. Maybe GPU down throttling from getting to hot? Im waiting patiently on a GPU waterblock for my 8800GTS.
watercooling mod & vgpu at the moment.
ram at 2100 24/7 @stock
gpu at 700 24/7 @1.35 idle 1.31 full 53c max
i think i should gain ~150 Mhz with vmen ;)

I seriously doubt the extra shaders can be unlocked on the GTS...the PCB is totally different.
Lookin forward to getting mine, hope there`ll be a new Riva and/or nibitor about ready to go soon
So, which is the waterblock you are using and fits, and where did you get it from?Quote:

I used Swiftech block with ancient 6600GT kit. Just drilled four new holes.
With 1.32V in load, it can do 710MHz.
06 score was 11745.
This is eleven's gpu block contact eleven or unseen for further details
Someone might be interested about other than core temperatures.
I measured temps with laser pointer.
660/2000MHz 1.32V/1.95V
Watercooled and one 80mm fan.
Idle:
Voltage regulation= 47c
Memory max temp= 32c
Ramdac chip = 41c
Core = 49c
Load: (half hour gaming)
Voltage regulation= 63c
Memory max temp= 60c
Ramdac chip = 51c
Core = 58c
So, this is not so hot card after all :D
What does this mean?Quote:
i think the difference comes only from the higher delta gts(1200) gtx(1350)
GTX core clock 575MHz shader clock 1350MHz
GTS core clock 500MHz shader clock 1200MHz
I tried it... pencil resistor from 31 om to 29 om, but vgpu not rise at all.Quote:

This resistor connected not to ground. Pencil vgpu mod not available for 8800GTS cards :(
New Rivatuner is out:

Now I could optimize my 24/7 clocks
Here is 06 run with my default gaming settings: 1680x1050 4AA 16AF (Driver: highest quality)
Attachment 53364
685MHz is enough to get shaderclock up to 1566MHz. That's stable in every game. Oblivion outdoors is toughest game situation and crashes if shader clock is any higher. Other games run fine with 700+/1620MHz
I use 1.3V load voltage 24/7.
