E6600 - cpu air/water cooling compared

Just amazing I must say for Scythe Infinity air cooling, E6600 @3505Mhz at 1.3125v bios (1.289v)

Room temp: ~24.0-26.5C
Cooling used: Scythe Infinity + 2x Thermaltake 120x25mm 81cfm push-pull
Bios idle: 44C
Windows idle: 38C
Windows load: 54-57C
Rise above ambient delta = 28.5-33C
Rise above windows idle delta = 16-19C

All temps still based on coretemp readings.

Hmm...I was thinking about going water but if air is almost as good at lower voltages...

Is it safe to run those higher voltages 24/7 on water? Like, 1.5V. Cuz I don't really want to invest a lot of money on water if I can't actually use the extra speed 24/7 =(

for 24/7 air i wouldn't use more than 1.45v-1.5v vcore at the most since past that vcore it will get alot hotter too heh
