If you bothered to use the search function, you would know vdroop is designed *directly* by Intel's spec sheets. Asus is just following specs.

My IC7 max3 has pretty much the same vdroop range. And that's not Asus...

I removed heatspreader. It's DDR2 800 CL=3-3-3-8 GX22GB6400PDC V=2.4V

1.312v idle ------ 1.30v full


P5B deluxe only droop from BIOS to WIndows :


1.35v BIos -----------1.312v windows Idle --------1.30v FULL

i got a little droop idle->full is about 0.03v
and from bios->windows is 0.04v

Andre, since you have that Asus connection, no big deal though, mind ask is it from now on, all new Asus mobo is made in China ? Fyi, my P5B-Dlx made in Taiwan.

I have just been looking at the specification of the P5B-E PLUS and it mentions 2 x 4 pin EATX 12 v power connector, will this board work with just the 1 x 4 pin connector or is ther another PSU needed ? also Andre what bios revision did the board have ? thanks.

Andre how much further above 500fsb can you get? Is the 100% OC 533FSB possible? Is this board worth the $150 against $170 for the P5B-D (I won't be using dual pcie-16x)?

What I mean is this: which is the better OCer the P5B-Deluxe or the P5B-E Plus?

Maybe it is not too hard to achieve 500 FSB even with that multiplier :)
I have before PCB from Taiwan but i change it to this and they have exactly same clocking abilities...
I think this is enough answer for some questions from this thread :)

I dont get it, is that 6 or 9 multiplier? Can anyone achieve 550FSB on any board?
