Rd 600 seems to be a sucess:toast:
Now see if you can hit 500fsb:cool:
:D Now it's time to spot some ES' from DFi.................:stick:
Nice going Victor :p We've all been waitign so long now and it seems it might've been worth while :D
Have you tried for max FSB yet ? And what teamgroup memory is that, this Victor edition ;)
mcp55 just in hand @.@
but I have to go to an great expo for 10days. flight is going to take off 12hours later :)
so...maybe will let u guys waiting for sometime.
sorry about that.
aww too bad victor. Have fun at the show!
Send the stuff over to me in mount pleasant and i will test it for you! :p:
For the record everyone, there are several reports of the reference board doing well over 400fsb, so its at least on par with the i975, and with async ram clocking it might get an edge.
600FSB? Where did you get that from? He's running 380FSB with asynch ram @600. :slap:Quote:

Memory performance is really POOR! With 1200MHz with 12-4-4-4 on i975X you will have about 30% higher READ in Everest. I have best Everest scores with 800MHz@8-3-3-3 at i975X than 1200@12-4-4-4 on RD600!

(i may be wrong however)
Its not that Nvidia or ati can't make decent chipsets... its just that they dont have the experience, technical information, MONEY to put into the fabrication and development of new chipsets, so naturally, the first few new chipset coming out on a new plateform would most certainly be sub-par compared to to intels.
just like the other n-force/ati attempts, i personally expect a fair amount of issues and bugs with this upcoming chipset.
but again,
just my opinion.
This is exactly why I think Victor should put a disclaimer, whenever he makes a new thread regarding this ES mobo, stating that the board in question is already at least 2 months old and so performance can only have (hopefully) improved since then. Wait until the retail version, or when someone has a much more recent ES, is available in the next month or so and then we'll see what it can really pull off :)Quote:

Sweet going Victor. Hope you have a good one at the show soon. Though this might be the next board to get soon :P

DailyTech previously reported DFI’s motherboard roadmap which
showed DFI’s RD600 based motherboard arriving towards the end of August.
Nevertheless, DFI has almost readied its long awaited RD600 motherboard,
and a few pictures of the board have already been leaked to DailyTech.
The new motherboard will carry DFI’s established LANParty UT branding and
cater towards enthusiasts. As previously reported the board is named LANParty
UT RD600-T2R/G.
Early images show the LANParty UT RD600-T2R/G with three PCI-Express
x16 and three PCI slots. Two PCI Express x16 slots will be full speed with
sixteen lanes routed to each slot. The lane configuration on the third slot
is unknown, though it most likely has around four lanes like other motherboards
equipped with three PCI Express x16 slots. With its three PCI Express x16 slots
it appears the DFI LANParty UT RD600-T2R/G is ready for ATI’s triple-play physics
for hardware accelerated physics processing.
Other notable features include dual onboard Gigabit Ethernet, UV reactive slots
and integrated high definition audio. As with previous LANParty UT motherboards,
the LANParty UT RD600-T2R/G uses DFI’s Karajan audio module which moves the
audio codec off of the motherboard PCB. This removes some electrical noise often
associated with motherboard PCBs.
Expect the DFI LANParty UT RD600-T2R/G to arrive within the next month or two
with support for Intel’s Conroe Core 2 Duo and Core 2 Extreme processors. Pricing
is unknown at the moment, though expect it to be north of $200. Unfortunately,
DFI's RD600 motherboard may be the last ATI-Intel motherboard to see the light
of day.

W000t!!!
Nice setup. I like the SATA ports. There's pretty good space between the first 2 PCI-E slots. The 3rd video card might be a tight fit.
Travis at DFI-Street is getting his ES board this week. :D
Can`t wait!! :woot:Quote:

An engineering sample this late? Who gives a :banana::banana::banana: about an ES, I want to see retail samples and results.Quote:
