How come you noticed it only now? You used only cpuz before which did not report 4MB before version 1.37?

2)never OCed this CPU - set it to 375x8 (BOX) from the very start and forgot about it ... DryIced it only one (got WR) ... then it was transferred to my mom`s PC, so I got no access to it :D
i had a E6300 ES that had 4mb of l2 cache
i figured since it was an ES, they just didnt care

Don't confuse with ES chips, look at revision, there were some ES chips with 4MB cache

hmm.. i recall seeing an e6400 also week 25 in the glass shelf at fry's, that didnt look like it was for sale; makes me wonder if it too was also like yours..
