Finally got my X1900GT-s, they look nice but rev.2 again.:( Looks like we need to start moding these beasts. Cheaper than single X1950XTX but faster:p: :

Damn, why has everybody 800mhz memory, i only have 725mhz :(
just wondering if any one knew.
1) why doesnt it allow software voltage mods?
2)since the next gen pcb is gonna be similar it prob wont allow software voltage mods either right?
3)why get this one over the old one.
Ths revision has a new digital VRM, which ATiTool, etc are not compatible with.Quote:

Evil thats software crossfire? What are your 06 and 05 scores
Yeah, software of course, that´s why i said cheaper than X1950XTX.:) For 05 and 06 run i used 3,9ghz and 573/1600.:confused:Quote:

Rev2 cards, but über fast nevertheless:p:
the old x1900gt is better overclocker? i saw old at 650+ easy...and now rev2 are having problems with 620...lol why should buy rev2 so :D
^ Digital PWM so I guess they run cooler.
Also HDCP support.
Yes, they consume less power, but they are slower by default, and not so overclock friendly as rev1.
because almost all GT-s are rev2 these days?:rolleyes:Quote:

nevertheless rev2 has nice cooler and it is fast even without oc.
513/657 and it does all that in crossfire.. software voltage adjustment would be just too nice:p:
Shamino has found Vmod for rev2 cards, but noone tried it. Im still looking for x1900gt rev1, i hope next week ill found some.
I dont remember where, but there was comparison between rev1 and rev2, and rev1 was faster my default.
rev1 is 575/1200 and rev2 is 513/1300
no wonder that rev1 is faster:)
