Maybe there's a bit more for 1M in it. It was a short DI session and I didn't really have enough time to mess around...I was busy being bent out of shape about my SPi times :) Then again, maybe it's just the CPU.

That's my issue, my SPi's have routinely been so much slower than others no matter where I boot in the ~405-570FSB range and I don't know why. Never in a million years would I be able run even 11:59 32M on that strap short of 4.6-4.7GHz.

Sounds about right...if I can get a 9x400->500 to finish a 32M, it will DEFINITELY be in the 11:2x range. That strap is great, too bad I have to switch back to the crappy one to get more than 4.5GHz back out of it.

Epox is about as close to a 5GHz validation as I've seen...and still a WHOLE bunch faster than me in SPi :)

NB gets painfully slow over 500FSB (board goes to 580), so SPi's suck unfortunately. If I could just keep my tight strap to 540-550FSB, I'd be running 10m 32Ms all day long :rolleyes: Any thoughts there Bachus?

LOL, definitely not..at least not on DI. Maybe it will squeak out a 1M at 4.9GHz or so (4.86GHz is the highest 1M I've gotten to so far on 1.70V), but 5054 was definitely nothing more than a suicide shot (also @ 1.70Vc). I don't know if it would ever bench at 5GHz+, but it would definitely take more cooling or Vc than I've run or may ever run ;)

considering 100% oc'ed, can you bench @ 4,7-4,8 ghz stable?

Yes. 32M will run at least at 4.75GHz no problem, maybe more. I ran about 12 iterations at 4730Mhz just as a tester and stopped it. My NB is very slow >500, so the time wasn't worth running it fully and DI was in short supply, so I just messed around with 1M mostly. The board is having some issues now though (hasn't booted since yesterday) and I am not sure what's up. I updated the BIOS and it was fine for a while and then I cleared the CMOS to make sure the new BIOS was all set up and it hasn't booted since...not sure if that just happened to be coincidence with some other problem though because it was a bit flakey the day before the BIOS update too.
