is that a freaking buzzer on the right of the card?
Why not a pic of Front of the card.  The Photographer is hiding something. LOL:stick: :stick:
When you guys say "fake" do you mean photochopped? They are crappy pics but the card looks real to me. Too many from too many different angles to be fake.
That's just a mofo of a card .. wow .. now where are pics of the R600 :)
Yeah...Vista requires sound, remember? :wasntme:Quote:

wowww....that things is so long...good thing I have a stacker :)
yes because then I would have to be able to remember beep codes for both my motherboard AND graphics card, and have to try to keep the tones seperated. So that I don't accidentally cram an extra 40v through the graphics card in attempt to correct an undervolting errorQuote:

lmao, nice one!
But are you sure its a beeper? Looks like a LED to me.
Would have looked better if the edge of the card came where the heatsink ends. But I guess the size is needed for these beasts if the specs are true.
What kinda fans are that, differs a lot from the previous ones. The fins are rather short and reminds me of the DFI chipset fan design. Guess these are designed for high rpm by the looks of it. :/
Why are there holes just before the back pci bracket in the heatsink cover, wouldn't it be better to try and get all of the air exhausted out of the case? Well not that it's any difficult to fix that... and there's 3rd party solutions for cooling needs anyways so no big deal but we don't see much of the "real thing", if they only could chop that heatsink off already. :p:
Backside looks pretty cluttered despite the size. :D
Hmm... Interesting water cooling design. This is something like the hybrid air/water cooler I tried to make with a stock AMD heatsink. I think the problem people are having with it is because it's not a block on the core. It has pipes, and works in just the opposite way the radiator on your WC setups do. The fins on the heatsink get hot, heat up the water in the pipes, and carry it away. I like it!

I wonder if 225W is really enough juice. Now I'm thinking they will lower their clocks in order to consume only 225W.
this card's lenght almost longer than the legendary voodoo5 6000 .. anyidea how
long the r600 will be ?
I hope this is not the final release. They could have given us a brick power outlet to offset the power requirements but they decided to go the cheap route.
They'll give you one for an extra $100 per card.Quote:

oh wow. That's the ugliest thing ever. The 7900gtx looked awesome...
Why do people care about what it looks like?
It's performance is what will sell this card, not it's looks ;)
I care about both :D.Quote:

Geforce 7900GTX = +/- 23 cmQuote:

And this one looks like it is as long as the 7900GTX, so still 9cm to go. ;)
the card is 28cm long.. so its 5cm longer then the 7900gtx.. and 4cm shorter then the 3dfx Voodoo 5 6000 :stick:Quote:

Besides unless you have a "BTX" mobo tray going, then seeing the "top" of the card really deosn't matter.
WHere are the ####s!
