OMG this is some nice voltage:slobber:
I really like your kind of style bachus :toast:

wow that is amazing!! Too bad p5w cant go that high on voltage. I still cant wait to test out these ram..comon ups..:D
yeah, some records will be made on the crosshair for sure.

I cannot believe it's possible to buy a board with such a high VDIMM. That's going to kill a lot of sticks, I can feel it =)
yeah... but it cant be too bad... good cooling with some good memory = some good records.
~Mike
Hey Bachus... My DMM is saying something about 2.82 volts when I put it on my motherboard... ;) Not very fair though since I'm using 512mb sticks and you have 1024mb.
Madness...DDR1 to 4V was madness also, 3.6 was easy enough. Near 100% increase with tiny die sizes IMO will kill a lot of ram. 2.8 is to much for me on DDR2.Quote:

Man maybe the IMC on this windsor just sucks but I can't get 460+ 3-3-3-8 stable for the life of me even at 2.8v. Makes your results seem even more impressive :toast:
bachus have you tested 1t?
here is where i'm at:

havent tryed higher maybe it has some more mhz left im at 2.5v this ram is loving volts but im limited now because of mobo
Well get your butt in gear and make us some kick ass 3.4v DDR2 w/ some BAD ass OCZ BGA's on them :-)Quote:

yeah that is weird about CAS4 and high vdimm Michael
Yay! Check out my 1st update in the initial post  ---> 2.9vdimm on 2GBHZ brought up even better kickass :)

I've been using the same drive strenghts as always, the ones kingping told me to use. Worked fine so far, maybe I need to change them up. It might just be the windsor since most of the time 1 core was crashing and the other was fine. Wish I could test it on the Orleans but I shipped it off this morning.
Sweet results with 2.9v, I might have to try that tomorrow. Mod point is far to small to solder to though so I'm pencil modding.

check this bachus:

buy it xD
here you go guys i tried to see what these can do on an intel platform with the same voltage, i know timings are not EXACTLY the same but i was just shooting for 3-3-3 i got pretty close im sure i could most likely reach 1000mhz cl3 but not very stable at all:(
micron D9GMH 2.8v
P5WD2-E Premium
Intel 631

i know crappy pi time but that is not what i was shooting for.
i have to think its the IMC on the CPU. my Orleans runs my sticks of memory no worries at 4-4-3-5 DDR1100+, drop in the Windosr and forget it. Maybe DDR1060 it can get a 32M run done. clearly the Windsor memory controller isn't handling the 2GB clocking so well...chances are your seeing the same thing. Could be the board I suppose but something tells me it's CPU. i should have a much better X2 coming this week VIA Filckerdown...thanx for the B1 AM2 X2 Dave!Quote:

I don't know my 3800+ windsor is able to handle DDR2-1200. But its most likey I got REALLY lucky.
~Mike
i think that is the case Mike, you got a good memory controller on yours. what stepping?
i am hoping this 4000+ LCB1E i am getting from flickerdown has a solid memory controller on it for some good memory clocks with a dual core. most if not all the high memory clocks on dual-cores that i have seen are on FX processors. it may be coincidence but my experience with 3 AM2 X2s hasn't been good with memory.
I will let you know how my 4600+ does.
