I will be modded this mobo Vdimm. Maybe I will have good timming DD2 1200 next week.

I just post FSB 600 first.

is it necessary to relax timings to achieve 600fsb? if so what timings?

also does this help with higher multipliers?

So do all Rev 1.03G P5B Deluxe boards come with C2 revision?

It'll take a while before these show up in the retail channel. 965 looks bettter and better. I'm having a lot of fun with my C1 right now. I'm warming up to the idea of 965 and 7950GX2. Thanks for sharing Andre.

My Rev 1.03G is a Rev. C1 :(.

Were you RAM limited ? Couldnt you set a lower divider ? Or got worse results ?

Id like to see performance comparison between 975X, because this 965's get a lot higher... Im considering one:D

I am also interested in buying the Asus P5B-Deluxe Motherboard
for building a new PC-System.

On the question "What mobo rev. for C2 ?" you said "The same P5B Deluxe C1, Rev. 1.03G"

The question for me now is: "How can I identify the new revision?"

Do you have a hint for me how I could ensure to get the C2 revision of this board?
(For example buying the board over an online shop)
Did you know when the board will be available for sale here in Europe (Germany)?

Did you know if there would be a P5B-E Deluxe Version with C2 Stepping
of this board?

It would be nice if you could respond to my questions.

I don't know if I should be writing this here but here I go.
I'm about to start school the last week of September. I'm trying to build a computer that will last me for a while. I have already bought the processor (e6400), case, power supply, and memory. I'm eyeing a $320 X1900XTX, but am unsure if I should buy it. As of right now, all I really need to get to build the computer is the mobo and the graphics card. I'm pretty certain that i'm getting the P5B-Deluxe. After seeing this post, I really want the rev C2. Should I wait till October when they are most likely in stock or just jump and get a rev C1? If I do wait, do you think that the $320 proce for the X1900XTX will no longer be a good deal?

I guess this is a two part question since i'm not going to be able to finish the computer without a mobo and might as well try and see if I could save money elsewhere.

Waiting till October shouldn't be a real problem for me, but I don't think I can go any longer.

No. None have the C2 revision yet. The mobo version (1.03G) is the same regardless of the chipset revision. About availability?

The same problem with C2 chip. I will ask ASUS to fix double boot.

The layout is all the same C1 P5B Deluxe. It's only changed 965 C1 to C2.

this has been a long known bug for asus .bit wierd when other manufactures havnt this bug ,bit annouying when one has phase .:(
