Nice rig dominick32. I think with a nice vdroop mod, maybe 4.2ghz 24/7 could be achievable.
Thank you kind sir. Yes, I need both a vdroop and vcore mod on my P5B. Is there anyone local to Long Island, NY that can do this for me? I would pay you for labor of course. One thing I will not get me hands dirty in is soldering.Quote:

I am assuming that is a week 25 chip?
wow man you're lucky to have gotten such great parts from the manufacturer (w/ no mods you pushed it pretty far). gj :)
Hehe, and people think 27 is the only week that clocks well. :p:
If I just would be able to buy a conroe for my modded prommi - that's some sweet numbers for single stage :toast:
who needs a x6800 when you have a 6600 like that,huh!?
nice results there .whats the temps in the biose ?
The CPU should be able to do around 4.4~4.6Ghz. :toast:
Not with my voltage problem - Maximum voltage on the board = 1.62 actual with a droop to 1.578 under load. That is using a bios selected 1.7 vcore.Quote:

Evaportator temps @ 4.1 ghz, 1.55 vcore = -48*C idle, -*39*C loadQuote:

I have the same problem with my board. You probably could go higher but not at those FSB speeds. Try lowering the FSB and increasing the multiplier. I'm guessing you should be able to get it just under 4.5Ghz or maybe even higher.Quote:

You really hacked away at that coolermaster case :D
Is this your full time rig or just a bencher?
SweeeeeeeeeT! :slobber: Im definitly going to get Phase change if i get a Conroe. Have you got any of thoses Condensation problems yet ?
By-the-way: That's what i call a real Mess, Ill always be proper and clean in my case even whit Phase change cooling. I like the look of a case whitout any wires lol
Heres what mine look like right now : http://images6.theimagehosting.com/IMG_2179.914.th.jpg
I used to leave the cables like that but after ~3hrs of work, this is the result :D

have you tried 1.675v set in bios ?
iirc, 1.7v give lower vcore than 1.675v
DragonHunter, Looking Good! Nice Management! It'll be even harder for me cuzz ill have My Vid cards watercooled lol
UPDATE FELLAS. I must say I am extremely pleases with this little 6600. Almost 4.4Ghz @ 1.62vcore.
Just installed a new thermalright HR chipset cooler and it turns out that my Northbridge has been holding me back BIG TIME!
