Any euros out there try www.pclincs.co.uk - they do guaranteed steppings and you can even request steppings if theyve got them in stock. As far as im aware they have no problem shipping to europe. All prices are in sterling and in Euros too.

I just ordered this EXACT same chip along with a True Control PSU to go in the Prommie from EXcaliber! I agonised over which stepping to buy...looks like I got the right one...man am I happy to see this post!:DQuote:

This CPU is really good ... So far I got :
2411MHz @ 1.600V
2505MHz @ 1.650V
2651MHz @ 1.825V
SuperPI, PCMark2002, 3DMark03 stable ;) ...
BTW this is with bad waterblock (maze 1 style) I'm sure that with something like LRWW it will hit 2.7G+ ;) ...

AMD XP1700+ Socket A Processor.
Present Stepping Codes in abundance (codes where stock for each code <3 not listed):
Present Codes are of form AXDA1700DUT3C JIUHB0309VPMW 978538725XXXX, e.g. AXDA1700DUT3C JIUHB0309VPMW 9785387250873 but Bloody's CPU scipt does not recognise them? JIUHB's are the top clockers on the OC.Com database however.
These although 0309 are U = 1.6v not L=1.5v. Strange since I would have thought week 9 would have been a DLT3C.
Thx PiLsY The other places I have seen DLT3C did not state that it was a TredB.
"
TBredA: If the website you're ordering from shows an order code of AXDA1700DLT3C, that's a Thoroughbred A. Update 3/28/03: It appears that from week 8 of 2003 and afterwards, there are 1.5V TBredBs with the same code. "
Anyone got one of the pclincs 1700s?
I have two for my dually... Watercooling should arrive on wendsday!Quote:

I just switched from a 2100+ B 306 that ran 2400MHz @ 1.8v to a 1700+ B 308 that runs now 2400MHz @ 1.7v and I can hit 2500MHz with 1.8v but this mobo doesn't really like high FSB and high MHz at the same time. I can't even run 233 x 10.5 D/C without locking up, no matter what vdd or CPU voltage I give it. But I can run 230 x 10.5 fine, so I'm trying right now 231 to see,

What memory timings at 233MHz ??? 3-3-2-2 ??? If so, have you tried 5-3-2-2.5 for example ???Quote:

I got one of those does 2650 in my vapo chill, watch out for the xmpw 310s they had, I ordered it at the same time and the chip wont do over 2ghz in in a vapo.

It is still not clear what purpose the Row-Active delay (tRAS) range from 1-15 clocks would serve since the MINIMUM necessary RAS pulse width to avoid loss or corruption of data is the sum of tRCD + CAS latency.
"
This is why I run 4 2 2 2. ANy lower than 4 seems to be asking for trouble. Since there is no preformance difference between a 6 and a 4 its not worth risking "loss or coruuption".
If you keep x-3-3-2 then x = 5.
May miraculously help running FSB & HIgh Multiplier.
I have tried every setting, even 7,3,3,2.5 and still locks up. But I will try to disable CPU interface to see,Quote:

Once again, I am impressed with Lost Circuits. Info you just don't find elsewhere.Quote:

ABIT NF7-S 2.0 VIO Tweak
Shamino who has done the ABIT NF7-S Rev 2.0 Overclocking Review last week has discovered a possible way to overcome high VCore voltage and high FSB at the same time faced by many experienced NF7-S users who modify their boards.

On the front page of VR-Zone.
where would you get that chip (with those same stats?) I haven't found a place to buy a chip that you can ask what specs you want on it. I have wanted to get a xp1700 B and this one seems like it.
Newegg doesn't say the advanced cpu code and gameve does, but they only have one.
I live in the US, where can I pick up this chip?
ExcaliberPC lets you pick stepping, but I got mine from MWave cause they also have the DLTs and a lot cheaper,
Calcu
Megatron - they had DLT3C 0308 WPMW chips last week. May still have a couple left as they only list steppings for chips they have more than 3 of. Send them an email m8 - worth a shot :).
If they dont though Id say just wait until they get a new shipment in (probably week 10's) and see if they're the 1.5v chips.
PiLsY.
Hi guys
My DLT3C 0308 SPMW does 2630Mhz@1.95v
This place :
http://www.cpucity.co.uk/acatalog/XP_CHIPS.html
has it in writing that they are selling DLT3C JuiHb Tbred B.
I also considered the xp2500+ (simply because £17 has been knocked off at www.komplett.co.uk) but read reviews of it and some of them have trouble with 200Mhz Fsb! From [H]OCP.
As things go the 1700 has not got any cheaper than £40, and has been this price for some time. So a more up to date CPU could be more of a bargan?
I got a week 10 delivered today from Excaliber:DQuote:

It came earlier than you thought eh Dude, Can't wait to see what you can get out of it.... have fun and let us know your results :D
Damn, sounds like a great stepping for the 1700+. I just ordered one from eXcaliber today, and for $72 bucks you can't beat the price!!
