Oh well there ya go. No, im not saying that. You can always search for info yourself, using the "Search" menu, or try Google, have u ever heard of it?.

Sorry, I guess that u need a Magic board to get 500FSB, cuzz the board itself is the one that set right memory timmings etc...

So, Yes lazzy ppl need a Magic/cherry picked Mobo in order to get 500+ FSB :).

Lazy people? What work is there in getting to 500+ FSB? Seems like you got it or you don't.. you mean tweaking with settings? Or modding? I wouldn't call the people that don't mod lazy.. I don't, but I'm anything but lazy. I've already looked through the search, too, btw :P.

So what did we figure out? The P5B Deluxe is sweet? o_O Just the article title has me convined to buy that board soon :P.

Thx a lot but those results are not really mine, they are done with intel and asus parts , i'm just a user who try to get the maximum from those parts , but it's a pleasure to read that !! :toast:

how much vdd did you put through them ? are they fat body D9's...
Also what was vmch & vfsb...:)

Yes it's D9 , i used max Vddr of the board so 2.45V
Vmch is stock, Vfsb too.

The only voltage that give me something is Vsb , i've settled it to 1.8V for 3Mhz FSB gain about.

Yep I can do 520 on an unmodded P5B Deluxe with BIOS 0507. That's a straight set in BIOS to boot and no clockgen, memset or anything else of that nature in use.

I can run 500 x 7 with the NB voltage left set to auto. So ya, currently ASUS is really getting their stuff together with this board.

Very nice. I'm glad I got that board. My goal right now is 3.6 stable with the 6400, P5B deluxe, Teamgroup memory, and ultra 120. I think it's a reasonable goal.

Well, maybe with new BIOS P5WDH will be near this P5B-D in FSB... but remember that 965 chipsets are getting higher FSB than 975 :).
