Well, use Google search for how to make bootable USB stick, even 128/256MB is more than enough and put AFUDOS and "ALL" BIOS version plus latest memtest in there.
I just plugged it there and forget it, usefull during this "beta" testing phase while juggling around bioses and ram testing. :D
The USB stick doesn't need to be bootable, the flash utility built into the P5B Deluxe BIOS can read directly from a USB stick, it just needs to be inserted into a USB port before you boot the system.Quote:

That method will not clean/overwrite the boot block area of the BIOS (the flashing module it self), just watch during the flashing prcocess using that method, it skips some region.
Actually that is no biggy, but I just want a perfect rewrite on the whole BIOS block.

Well i fixed the bios issue. Just created a fat32 partition on my HD, placed afudos and bios file there, boot it in dos mode, switched to the drive and was able to reflash:D whew.
As for clockgen it works great, thanks CPUZ:toast: . I'm tempted to try these new bios but can someone go first this time:p:
where is there so many bios now 609 the latest or beta :rolleyes:
1. Support Conroe XE CPU(ES version) can adjust ratio to 13 (original is 11)
2. Patch OCZ2G8002GK-6400 can't boot issue
3. Fix memory 4:5
4. Fix FSB 395~399 stable

This is looking good... hopefully this will be my 4GHz trump card.
Running XP 64bit here, clock changes work fine, but whenever I reboot, it won't post :(
Have to reset to defaults.
Haven't tried on 32bit XP yet, but anyone else using this with XP 64?
