I guess I'm considering this, the P5WDH and the MSI atm...
I wonder if this will show more or less problems than the P5WDH. I read somewhere that this board runs a bit warm, but that's not anything we can't manage :)
Like to hear more how it goes as this is heavily on my consideration list.
Price difference of this to the others isn't strong enough to make me worry, but OC and stability would.
Well, I just bought an Asus P5WDG2-WS Professional to go with my Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E6600,
It will be replacing my Asus P5WDG2-WS.
Will the hard drive from the Asus P5WDG2-WS work in the P5WDG2-WS Professional or do I have to reformat with new drivers.

What advantages would it have over a P5B Deluxe or P5W DH Deluxe for a non-server implementation?

I don't plan anything elaborate, nor could I make any use of the special slots in the WS board. I only am running one video card, no other add-on cards. But if the WS board offered more stability or a more robust setup, then it would be worth it to me. Is the circuitry better, or is there any difference in the quality of the components between it, the P5B Deluxe or the P5W DH Deluxe? I have read about the "8 phase power", etc on these boards, but the P5W DH Deluxe had close to 1/2 volt of vDroop on load. Are there better chips, capacitors, etc. on the WS?

Now that I have ordered a WS Pro, I hope that the P5B Deluxe doesn't turn out to be THE board to use. I had some misadventures with the first one that I tried, but it seems that people are truly loving the P5B Deluxe now. Hopefully these are mainly folks who would rather not pay the extra cost of the WS Pro?
However, it seems that people that are switching to the P5B Deluxe are people who have either tried the DH Deluxe or some non-ASUS board.
I haven't read of ANYONE who tried the WS Pro and then switched to the P5B Deluxe, but the WS Pro owners are, of course, very few in number.
Also, the debate lingers on whether the 965's are better for E6300 and E6400 and the 975's better for E6600 and E6700, not as a rule, but in general?
Hopefully the WS Pro will be the way to go with my E6600.

Probably a stupid question this - but this board does support ATI Crossfire doesn't it? Only reason I ask is that the ASUS website explictly mentions it for the P5W-DH Deluxe, but doesn't mention it at all for the P5WDG2 WS Professional.
