you may not have ram issues here, you may have strap issues that are causing the none boot etc. I know I keep harping on about this but untill we know what strap these boards are setting we have to be sure we have tested everything.
4:3 may be off the 800 strap, so with the fsb on the CPU at 400 you have a massive overclock on the NB which is causing you issues.
Wes, I need you to just load setup defaults, make sure the ram is on 800 mode if thats what its rated for and see if it runs ok...if it does, overclock the ram till you hit its max and let me know.
Then drop the ram back to 667 mode and do the same, in theory if the CPU is good the ram should hit the same speed.
Now if you then drop to 533 or 400 mode and the CPU now clcoks like a dog the board has changed strap and this is the cause of the issues.
I know its a lot to do but this may prove the ram is just fine and you have in reality just a board overclocking issue.
