Hopefully dual/quad cores get more desktop everyday usage soon. Apart from benching, distributed computing (*cough* Rosetta *cough*) and video encoding, there is no really need for a quad core right now :(
Hopefully we will see some nice parallelized progams for vista.

Can you really load windows any faster 1 to 3 secs... then less then 1 bar as soon as it pops up in the XP logo with something like that?
