WOW!!!!! 3200mHz @ 400fsb with default voltage...
:eek2:
GJ Kunaak!
i guess 3.5Ghz is most stable/ highest maybe 3.6Ghz...
http://forums.anandtech.com/messagev...&enterthread=y
he did 3.5Ghz, he said with easyteune he can go 375x8, hes on tower 120 with DS3, too
pretty sick man
look forward to seeing more results
maybe 450 with 8x:D
if 534 is the record... heres 535 ;)
look back a few of my posts, I said I already hit 535 a few times, but screen goes nuts past 533... well, abit of patience, and here I guess... is the WR... for the moment, haha... I honestly dont think this board has anything left.
Validation file... again reporting the wrong Cas.
should show cas 5-6-6-20. went slower to just take the ram out of the equation for possible problems.

Damn nice, didnt know the record was already at 534
Very nice chip, a monster in reality.
Are you using the cascade?
533 just like dat.. nice! :toast:
no, all air.Quote:

I dont know if the cascade would really do anything for this chip.
what I think I will do next, is take the chilly one unit I got, and bolt that to the chipset, and then watercool the CPU.
see if that helps go higher.
but I am not even sure I can find a way to mount that thing to the chipset, the holes on the board have very little distance between them.
I was thinking of taking the videocard mount, and drilling a few extra holes in it, to adapt it to the chipset... haha...
nice :toast:Quote:

very very very impressive FSB Kunaak with a DS3
Perfect board!!!!
:banana::banana::banana::banana:ing nice.
I think an Allendale is better to get high FSB
i think too, some allendale with DS3 got a good FSB, but not the conroe...Quote:

What can I say Kunaak?
You took one of the cheapest decent Conroe boards and polished it so well.... Congrats, amazing amazing acheivements with no extravagant stuff involved!! :toast:
:banana::banana::banana::banana:ing :banana::banana::banana::banana: thats :banana::banana::banana::banana:ing nice :banana::banana::banana::banana:! if my :banana::banana::banana::banana:ing e6400 can do :banana::banana::banana::banana:, I'll be :banana::banana::banana::banana:ing happy! :banana::banana::banana::banana:!

that great mate
good job kunaak !! :toast:
Bah, that's nothing. My cpu does 533 DEFAULT. Hum, wait that's quad :fight: Good job! :woot:
nothing much else to say about 535Quote:

I got 6300 today and I can do 6 or 7x495 4-3-3 at +0.1vmch and a slight cpu voltage bump but I have FSB wall at 497 no matter what vmch/fsb (unmodded, so +.3 max for vmch) or ram timings (D9 corsair UL)
Reminds me of yonah FSB wall :slapass:
I have already chipset dice container prepared, might as well throw a few dice pellets to see if I can go higher :) Or chipset mod but strange thing there is no difference between +.1 and +.3
regaurdless of what multiplier I use, the CPU's limit is around 3.7 ghz.
getting 8 x 450 is easy, but getting 8 x 500 isn't gonna happen on air cooling with this board.
so it's not the board holding me back at the moment, but the CPU's air cooling limit.
just getting 3.2 ghz on air stable, at stock voltage is nice to me.
getting anything higher is just a bonus, but for a CPU thats default is 2.13 ghz, I can only be amazed to even get to 3.7 ghz on air, so I am not complaining even if its not stable enough for day to day use.
