The thermal resistance improves quite a lot, in the other role motherboard is the FSB actor on intel processors.
If you come from AMD, I may understand your mind.
Yes he knows more about Intel E6600 Engineering Sample B1, fact he has it. Does he have the retail E6600?Quote:

Coolaler, Pedro Rocha and Rick are truly an Extreme users.
why do you guys keep using core temp. that program is sooooo wrong.
temps are at LEAST 10 degrees higher than what they really are.
not to mention it does some freaky crap to the cpu probe.
if you exit it and try to use some other temp progrma the temps of THAT program are totally whack like 5 deg. not 5 deg off they are reported as 5deg C.
you have to reboot to make things come back.
stick with speedfan or the program that comes with your mobo.
there's no way those few screens that are shown here are 45c idle. those chips dont idle that hot, not even with stock cooler.
speedfan on badaxe will reset vcore to stock so you can't use speedfan... intel DCC doesn't work properly with 1334 bios for badaxe eitherQuote:

has anyone tried systool?.... http://www.techpowerup.com/systool/latest.php
Impressive! Can't wait to get myself a E6600!
latest version of systool on bad axe board reports +15C higher than coretemp for meQuote:

Well...i kicked my E6600 retail in for testing, and i´m sorry to say, thats it clocks about 200mhz less at same volts as my E6600ES:( only good thing was that it runs A LOT colder than my ES. we are talking 17 degrees load different. gotta lap the ihs on the ES:)
