P5W-DH 0801 New Official Bios

Like i said, they do testing by letting the bios into the wild and having customer find their bugs for them, then they release 20 bios per year, which are really fixes, and dont' really add anything new to the bios worth mentioning :)

Well i will see how it goes, if i really get pissed at them, i will order the Bad Axe 304 and flip ASUS the finger. :slapass:

Or maybe, change the P5W with the Gigabyte DS4 or DQ6...

Never used a Giga motherboard before, always used Asus and Intel in the past.
Don't like 965 mother boards, i like the 975 based motherboards only.

I updated from 701 to 801, below are the things I noticed.

1.There is a overclocking profile in the ai options.

2.When I used to go to the hardware monitor area of the bios it would take several seconds for the screen to load. Now it loads right away.

Nothing negative so far for me.

so it's still have OC profile in the bios like 0901 ?

I never tried bios 901. All I can tell you is 801 has a oc profile option/setting in the ai section of the bios.
