The NvCpl.dl_ file is actually not important. That's why I left it unchanged (I didn't overlook it ;)).

Worth a try, shouldn't do anything bad if it doesn't work, I think it MAY work but I'm not sure..

Report:

I had 91.31 installed working well with single GX2. (Not even a quad capable driver)

1. Installed second card
2. Booted Windows, got SLI notice "One of your display migth turn black..", but then the system resetted itself
3. Boot into Windows, no SLI option.
4. Installed 91.37 from this thread
5. Reboot but it just resets itself before showing the Welcome screen
6. Fail safe mode and uninstall of driver
7. Tried the 85.96 installation. It misses nvdisps.dll so I point it to the 91.31 driver. It installs two of four then reset.
8. BSOD when trying to boot into Windows.

by 85.96 you mean what I did?

Didn't someone hack a 91.xx driver for intel chipsets??

I seem to remember someone did.

Can anyone hook me up with it, probably the most likely to work..

Crotale, i've had about the same experience when trying to mod the 91.31's. Right after installation it showed the SLI option, i've activated it but performance was slower than single-card, then after restart i got BSOD so i had to uninstall. This was with 7900GT's on Bad Axe.

These drivers will work on non 7950's (as long as the inf is edited). You should try them out and see if they work as good as the 8X.XX modded drivers.

I have an X6800 and a 7950GX2 already running fine with the newest WHQl on a Bad Axe. I also have another 7950GX2 just sitting here collecting dust until someone figures this driver issue out.

When I get home tonight, I'll try the second 7950GX2 with the drivers posted here.

Yes, results are low, but something is working on this "quad system:

in 3DM03 Fillrate test I have very big boost SLI off vs quad SLI on on two card setup:
two 7950GX2 cards, SLI enabled- 21877,6Mtextel's
two 7950GX2 cards, SLI disabled- 11445,9Mtextel's -over 90% boost
In same test GT2 max fps was way higher under quad mode.
In Aquamark I have 11FPS boost. 100 vs 111 on quad or whatever mode :D
I've monitored all system power consumption- when Quad SLI is active, power consumption was avg. 50W more.

And netburst intel are weak at such low MHz (3,8GHz), even if they have Extreme logo :)

:mad: That was my idea already :D

Easiest thing is to rename the .EXE of games and benches that don't benefit from QUAD-SLI to the name of one that does benefit from it ;)

I am running AMD FX-62. I know this is a Intel Thread. But this might work for you guys.

91.33 Beta Drivers. I have Quad-SLI and it even shows I have Quad-SLi on a Asus Mobo M2N32-SLI deluxe.
