Nice, I'm going to update this afternoon when I get home. I wonder if I'll be able to finally push mine past 3.9Ghz on air. If this BIOS really works better I might have my 4Ghz 24/7 Conroe rig! I would be very very happy with that! :D

Didn't gain much at 1067fsb strap from 1304 to 1334 bios, gained 0.8FSB or 7mhz LOL

Could you explain this to me? I thought rev 304 Bad Axe worked with conroe retail without any mods at all? :confused:

Not all bios worked (open bios w/out debug pin shorted) with stepping 5 6800XE

Hmmm..you might want to unistall/reinstall the DCC again. I seem to have DCC 2.1.0003 working fine with 1334 (rev 3.04 X6800 ES).

yeah tried uninstall, reboot, reinstall now i can load it but the temps don't bump in DCC hehe

?? 1333 strap not working at all with 1334 BIOS. I can set it in BIOS, but when I get into windows it's still at 667 strap, accorcing to IDCC, CPUID, CPUz, and sandra:confused:

Anyone else seen this prob with the 1334 BIOS ?

I didn't get any kind of change at all with the new BIOS. It wouldn't OC any higher and I still don't have control over the multiplier as I should with an ES. Not sure what's going on with mine but I'm not liking my Bad Axe a whole lot.

ES multipliers are not automatically unlocked. You need the Intel Integrator Toolkit. You can only go down, not up.

So are saying we have to use ITK and flash for each multi? 9, 8, 7, Or is their a way to use ITK to open an adj function?

I understand the only default and down multi's part. Just hope we don't have to ITK and flash for each multi.

That would be nice to know too. Most people here have ES while some us of never have access to one of these processors. Also people also have the rev.304 while I couldn't even get a hold of one but I could only got rev.302.

Just a FYI.

This BIOS does not fix the issues that Bad Axe has with the Areca1210 and 2GB of RAM, you still have to keep it under 2GB in order for it to correctly detect and use that RAID card.

did you find a solution to the prob of not being able to select multis from the BIOS?

i'd like to be able to drop my E6700 ES multi to check for max FSB on the board

do i have to make a new bios for each multi or is there any way to unlock the option? :confused: :shrug:

I've never found a way :mad: I gave up on multi changes in the BIOS.
